Alison Evans has an international reputation for her distinctive contemporary jewellery based on the ancient techniques of chainmail. Her work explores the contrast between the natural environment and the manmade and industrial world, to produce a unique style.

Crafted using her handmade individual chainmail loops or shingles, Alison carefully selects precious and semi-precious stones to complement her collections in 18 carat gold, silver and titanium, adding sparkling colour to her distinctive rings, necklaces and earrings.

All the gold and silver Alison uses is is recycled, like most of the diamonds which are carefully selected for their beauty too. And naturally, the diamonds Alison selects are all ethically sourced, many taken from older pieces of jewellery to be reloved and reworn.

Stocked in galleries around the world, Alison Evans Jewellery is loved by individuals looking for easy to wear pieces with originality and luxury detailing.

Working from her converted barn studio on the family farm in rural East Sussex it’s a perfect place to observe order, repetition and growth in nature and the changing seasons. The different shapes and forms that Alison sees on a daily basis are subtly transformed using her own personal visual language into necklaces, bracelets and rings, that are both sensual and comfortable to wear.
